Another Coyote Sit?

Unread postby wiscbowhntr » Mon Jan 27, 2014 11:23 am

I have hunted the same spot for coyotes twice this year because it is just covered in coyotes. I got permission last weekend and hunted it right away. I went out again this morning and saw 7! I saw all 7 not while calling; they were too far for my AR when I saw them. They spooked but they just trotted off. I was thinking of just going out and sitting and waiting for some to come out into the fields and then l try calling them in. I don’t want to over educate the coyotes should I hold off for awhile?

I am not a big coyote hunter since time just does not permit.

Based on what I know I would try again since they can be here today, gone tomorrow.

My 2-cents worth.

If the wind is good go sit. Breeding season is close, it'll get better
