It has been my experience around here, if u r seeing a lot of coyotes pass by you are on the hot sign! I have found acouple beds just by watching a coyote sniff around from my perch, also they use terrain the same as deer not in relation to wind but in ease of travel and staying undetected.

Everyone I see gets an arrow sent its way. I have kilt a few. One this year in Oct.

I shot a big one two years ago while deer hunting. It jumped a deer in some thick stuff (never got my eyes on what it jumped) and came to me about 5 minutes later. I won’t forget the loud, high pitched bark it let out when the arrow passed through it. Ran 15 yards and expired. Cool experience.

Shot a big female this fall. First nice one with a bow so I’m going to get it mounted.
