We have a few cats in the area. There are at least two in the Merrill/Athens/Marathon City Area. They show up regular on area cams.

We also had a bull moose in the area last week. He was less than a mile from my house at one time.

Had one in my town acouple years back, sheriffs office and game wardens were going door to door informing folks to not leave any young children or pets out unsupervised until further notice. Believe they trapped him 2 days later. He was holed up in a big brush pile in a cow pasture. Big Tom I saw pics he would have made a nice mount!
