Three years ago the scientists said the cod stocks were OK. This year they are claiming a collapse. They are deciding what to do right now. They are talking about reducing the take by 90%!! Some areas need help, but the scientists are too stupid to realize the root of the problem. Namely giant mid water trawlers scooping up all the herring!! Of coarse when the food is gone, the fish that feed on them leave too. The cod are there. There are places where I can catch them all day long, almost a fish a drop. Does that sound like a fish on the verge of collapse?

These days are OVER! Very sad. :(

I've only gotten on the Atlantic a few times and considering I'm less than 25 miles you would think I would dip a line more than that
