I’m pretty sure any day now we’ll lose TB waters too
I heard a local fish house is sitting on 10k# of grouper it can’t move cause of the Chinese virus.
God forbid I have to go buy some. But If its a deal.....

Be sure to hit me up with where that is! I’m making space in my freezer awful fast this year.

In a landlocked state, one normally wouldn’t be proud of getting crabs.
But in your case... those look awesome!
What do you do with all of them? I imagine eat some as is, but do you can/freeze any? Never prepared them before.

Got offshore with the boy to 34 miles yesterday.
Furthest he’s been
A bit sloppy and a slow bite but we managed a few.
The boy caught a 15# Bonita that almost spooled his snapper rod
He caught some almaco jack and Lesser Amberjack
A yellowtail snapper
Had a couple jewfish steal a few of his jacks
We caught a lot of short fish.
I caught a decent mango snapper 19.5”
Buddy caught a decent amber jack (green shoes pic)
We worked our tails of though
And he didn’t get seasick
Also is attached is a pic of the crab cakes from the other week

Got out for some good ones.
Boy caught his first keeper grouper a 26”er with a 2500 series spinner. That was a good catch. He even pulled it out of the rocks.
Spanish mackerel
And some nice mango snappers.
