Great night of walleye fishing!!
I was up at one of my roommate's cabin this weekend. We went out yesterday evening. I ended up boating 5 walleyes. The first was 21". Then I got two 23"ers. Then a 23.5". I would have been content to go back in and eat dinner, but my roommate was determined to catch a fish so we stayed out a little longer. I ended up catching the biggest fish of the night, 28.5"! It was also my longest walleye ever.

Nice job.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

We were using lindy rigs with leeches in anywhere from 18-23 feet. There were two small humps near an island surrounded by deep water so we kept working the edges of the humps. Went out late this morning for a couple hours and we boated one 23" and lost another really nice one, but overall it was somewhat slow. This lake is unique. You always have the chance of landing a trophy, but you'd be hardpressed to catch a meal. Fish smaller than 21 are really hard to come by for whatever reason.

Nice, I seem to always to be behind on the deep bite. I hammer them shallow early in the season, but then stubbornly stay shallow to long. I have a similar sunkin island hump i was gonna hit last weekend but instead stayed shallow. Do you guys make a similar shallow to deep shift to stay on the bite? I've really fallen in love with slip-bobber fishing, I'll troll to find active fish toss out a marker buoy and anchor over the top of them.

Nice fish and electronics!
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.
