Fletcher's Pond trip

Unread postby whitetailassasin » Tue May 26, 2015 9:52 am

Went to Fletcher's Pond this Memorial Weekend. It was chilly and windy. Fishing was slow, but the time with the wife was awesome. She caught her first keeper fish(newbie) a 15.75 bass. She had a 30-35" pike on the snapped her line right at the boat. Many smaller bass and pike were caught between the two of us. Just not many keeper sized fish. A little early for this spot, will be going back end of June early July usually heats up then.

That's a fun spot to fish, lots of structure. Great bass and pike fishing if you can get on them.

Caught two King sized perch. Threw them back. It used to be a lot more perch, but pike and bass dominate those waters.
