I Always wanted to catch an 8 lb brook trout. I finally got one last August. So I guess I'm dreaming bigger now. 9lbs or bust.

Good luck Dewey. Any luck so far? Last weekend was one of the toughest times to fish. Sucks it is the week you're up here. Feel free to pm me.

Bass - best spot for 12" gill is Mendota! I honestly caught 3-4 during my years at UW. I called around to get a pair of them mounted and the cheapest I could find was $$$$. So I ended up tossing em!

A nice fat walleye is on my list but I really want to hook into a giant late trout. Got the lake that produces them up in Canada and a place to stay, just need to find the time to get away from the fam and get up there.

One this size will do. 8-)

No luck so far. Been tough times and even the local guides are not having any success.

My biggest ones have been from Mendota through the ice. Two at 11-7/8. No 12 yet.

A respectable king salmon. Wouldn’t even have to be a big one.

Went to Alaska in ‘99 with my family and salmon fished the Kenai River. Super low salmon run that year. We only caught 3 silvers and 2 had already spawned so couldn’t keep them. We did head out to sea and had a hay day with halibut. 265’ of water with a 4 lb sinker. 3 of us teamed up on a 118 pounder and I caught a 65 myself. I think we ended the day with 7 or 8 fish. My aunt lives in anchorage and I definitely need to get back up there!

32+ walleye would be mine, 50+ musky. 12-pound largemouth would be awesome too. No size target, but I love catching big smallies too.

Saltwater stuff would be a whole new ballgame and I wouldn’t even know where to begin.

I’d say a 30”+ walleye. I could do that any spring up in depere, wi but I don’t feel like playing bumper boats or snagging in order to get that fish. 50” musky would be cool too, again Green Bay would be the place to go, but trolling ain’t really my thing. I could do either of those trips pretty much whenever I wanted and I haven’t yet....this year. I haven’t been to depere for two years. So idk, maybe some kind of salt water monster? Any of them, walleye, musky or salt water trophy would be cool. I love fishing and I love eating fish almost as much. I also doubt if I’d put a fish on the wall so my trophy fishing would likely be a catch, pic and release deal.

70+# blue or flathead catfish. Have a couple 40’s on flats and caught a 60 blue in 17’. Inching in closer each season.
