I like the Sitka Stratus pant for not only treestand hunting, but Alaskan moose hunt. I was limited to 70 pounds of total gear so i only brought one pair of pants. See how the boot flap nearly totally cover the rolled down hip boots. Hard to beleive I am wearing hip boots. Mike

Mike that was great. Solo DIY recurve Alaska moose - Well done.

Mike sent the pic the other night to my phone and I wanted to hear more. I could have just called him as I had his number, but instead I coaxed him here for my BEAST friends to enjoy.

Thank Big Daddy for Mike ending up here not me. Bid Daddy ran into Mike at a traditional shoot somewhere and they got talking about quieting something. Next thing you know I get a call and sure enough that was me that turned the Stealth Strips the wrong way on his hip boots (thank goodness, the moose didn't notice).

A few weeks later I get the pic, and Mike is here. Good thing the Big Daddy occasionally makes it to these trad shoots in addition to his retirement home meetings and his regular baby sitting duties of the grand kids.

Awesome. Yukon moose is my dream hunt. I need to do to my Tundra boots what you did to yours. I enjoyed the little details like taking care when using your knife up there alone.
Congratulations- what a bull.

Welcome Mike! Good to have you here on the site. I asked Barry once who the guy was in Primal Dreams carrying the two large whitetail bucks, one over each shoulder. He said you did it for a joke, wow impressive.

Nice Moose and nice boots!
