Huntin Bushytails with my pellet gun...

Unread postby BowtechHunting » Fri Jan 20, 2012 3:32 pm

I went out the afternoon to take down a couple of lock-ons, and I thought while I was out I might as well do something I haven't done in along time...squirrel huntin'! Only this time I didn't take my 20, or my 12, or my .22 fieldmaster- I took my pellet gun that I got when I was 15. I put my tasco 3-9 scope from my .22 and zero'ed it in. Well, I with I could tell you it was easy, but I seen 3 and missed 1. I haven't squirrel hunted in about 8 years or so and it's time I get out there and remove some of those "footballs" from my stands. I can't tell you how many I see while on stand, but when I actually go I don't see as many...oh and to pour salt in the wounds I seen 7 doe while I was out. I hardly ever seen doe around my stands....go figure. Where does the irony end and begin. :snooty:

sounds like time well spent... reducing the bushytail population is always a fun trip.
