There is another option Ed. You could put it in the freezer for a year or so and get it mounted when the funds are more plentiful. I did that with a Yote one year. I had 2 bucks at the taxi and was tapped out for cash. I was glad I waited it turned out to be one of my favorite trophies. Your Fisher is a tremendous trophy with a bow. I think you will appreciate that more as time passes. Plus Jake can tell his friends "dad has a fisher in the freezer". My kids got a lot of mileage out of a "Yote in the freezer".

Well - I put the moves (sweet talked ;) ) on the warden last night and she has allowed me to get the full body mount.

It's ALL your fault for convincing me
I showed her this post and she caved to the pier pressure.
I told her how bad of a wife everyone would think she was, blah-blah-blah, it was almost like she didn't care, but said yes anyways

Cool Ed, I have never seen one in the wild. Glad your were able to get the "Warden" to allow you to get a full body mount.

Very cool ed. I saw one in the UP a couple falls ago, and started wanting one. Pretty sure we have to trap them, and I don't know a thing about trapping so I will just frame the pic of yours.

Saw a mink in my front yard yesterday, Ellie was trying to get a pic of it, but it ran when it saw us gawking at it.

That is awesome Ed! I've had to help a buddy let 2 of them out of live traps, they're something, to say the least!
