Re: The rolling mouse trap..
Neat idea. I saw very similar setup but they used wire coat hanger with a paper towel tube over it and baited it too with peanut butter. They used antifreeze in the bucket since it was put into cabins in Canada during the winter.

Re: The rolling mouse trap..
Been wanting to make one to catch mice for trapping. Plus I'll be doing my part to thin out the Lyme infected buggers!

Re: The rolling mouse trap..
We have one we put in our camper at deer camp. The week before deer opener we set it, one week later there were 40 mice dead in it. We knew we had mice but no idea of the numbers. After that we would get a few a week till December then nothing... We used a pop can on a rod.

Yass my favorite. If you're using poison the draw to moisture is already deadly.
I would like to add If anyone has access to oats, barley,
Or even grass seed. Dump a few heaping handfuls will on top of the water. I've used just water and oats without the spinner. They litterally jump into the bucket too drown.

It would be more Wisconsin if there was a hunk of cheese on the rod to serve as bait, and the bucket was filled with cheap beer.
Interesting design. I just use the industrial size sticky pads and always let a couple collect on there. Send a message to the others that I mean business. Also work for chipmunks
Might have to try it out
