We have had some in West Tennessee for years.

The wardens never would believe people until about two years ago when multiple were on video on scouting cameras. Their response then was well must be a rare from South Dakota.

Our wardens probably put them out.

Now that is a hunting beast! Big cats are incredible creatures.

They do the same thing here in La... people act like they are a myth or something... I think it's partly because of they admit they are here they have to manage it. I don't get the concept that they are only passing through. Ok and they know that how?

Another confirmed cougar sighting.

Doesn’t seem like the same one. :?

From pics and tracks the other sightings seemed to be a much larger cat than 50 lbs.

Surprised it was moving in daylight. :o

Really cool video. Imagine sitting in your living room and a cougar has his front feet in the window looking at you.

I don't get why the first reaction would be to "Neutralize" the Cougar....Just let him be. I guess I am rooting for the cat! :D

We've seen them up north in WI for years and years. 2 of 3 years ago there was a track that the DNR found in the marsh I hunt. They've been around for awhile. Very secluded animals but once they get into higher population areas they can't hide with today's technology.

I'm waiting for the wolves to migrate down in larger amounts so the wolf lovers can get their dogs and cats killed. See how long you see "Save the wolves" written on bumper stickers after that.
Dogs have many friends because they wag their tails, not their tongues.

They've been in Northern Wisconsin forever. I have seen one and know of about a dozen credible people that have seen them too. My grandfather said even back in the 1930's they were around here.

Does anybody else think it’s weird that a wild cat would run up to a house window in daylight like that?
Seems to be someone’s pet got loose or they got tired of feeding it.

No, been pretty quiet. Hard to believe considering it was heading into the highest population area in the state.

I’m in Menomonee Falls right now. Better watch out for him.

Sounds like he’s headed back north again. He was spotted just west of here in Colgate then headed south to Brookfield now back up to the Falls. He better keep heading north away from the concrete jungle. Kettle Moraine to the north would be better. Plenty of land to roam and deer to feed on.

Hoping he doesn’t head into an area where they are forced to shoot to kill.

The Menomonee Falls pic was taken very early Friday morning. Probably long gone by now.
