[quote="Kraftd"]Awesome stuff rem! [glow=red]As my kids get older I can definitely see a little more waterfowling and a little less buck chasing in my future. A little more action for the little ones.[[/glow]/quote]

Exactly! I started scouting last year already for 2018. Good action with good access (for kids) takes more effort than finding good spots in general.

Yep I spend a lot more time grouse/duck hunting in the fall than I use to. Great activities to get the kids loving the outdoors and as mentioned, more action.

I think getting turned on to ducks and geese a few years back is directly responsible for the fact that I have not been on the Beast in about 2 years!!!!! Love my marsh time. This year was tough hunting for me in Central WI. The opener was brutal to our ducks, and we never really got more migrators until the season was over. But the times I traveled over to the Mighty Mississippi was lights-out hunting!!

I'm a duck hunter. There, I said it!

I also designed the Hybrid duck boats and started United Waterfowlers Florida. Google Hybrid duck boats or UWF if you want to know more. I've sent plans to Russia, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and even the South Pacific. (I wasn't gonna say anything and saw one of "my" boats on one of the threads...LOL Small world.)

All-in-all, Ducks are fun.
