Does poison sumac itch?

I have a little rash started on my forearm from when I went bear baiting on Mon/Tues. Doesn't itch at all like poison ivy would. And I swear I didn't see any wild parsnip. That swamp was pretty nasty once I cut in from the cattails into the tamarack/brush swamp. Got pretty intimate with a lot of those branches and leaves lol. So it wouldn't surprise me if I came into contact with something in that bog. Curious if it might have been poison sumac or probably something else?

Yes. Poison ivy doesnt bother me much, but I break out bad from poison sumac. I'd get a good steroid.

Sunburn? I sometimes get small blisters/hives on my arms if I get too much sun on them. They dont itch or scab like poison ivy. Even though my forearms are pretty dark and tanned from being outdoors a lot. sometimes they just get too much sun on them.

Don't think it's from the sun, as I was wearing long sleeves. Doesnt appear to be sumac either, which is good. Must be either some wild parsnip I didn't see on the side of the road or something else. As long as it doesn't bother me that much I guess I'll just keep putting hydrocortisone on it. Im packing some big band aids for my bear hunting trip this weekend in case it blisters up badly. Unfortunately don't have time to stop at the docs to get some prednisone.

Does a fat baby fart?

Yes it does. That place where you were has a bunch of it. I got into it in March when it was all frozen. Blisters all over my hands.

A few weeks ago I was scouting and got some rash. I couldn't control my response with creams and had to go on prednisone for a week. It cleared things up quickly, but really messed with my sleep.

Poison hemlock will give you a rash. It is photosensitive like parsnip.

Ingestion is really bad. It will kill you.

Looks like the hemlock is similar to and grows in the same areas as the parsnip. I swear I didn't see anything like it, and I've trained myself to look. If I didn't know better I would say it had to be sumac, especially after looking at the pictures of the plant, except that the itch isn't bad. Maybe I should just consider myself lucky lol.

Went to the walk in clinic and got some topical and oral steroids to be safe since I'll be pretty remote all weekend.

Gosh I'm falling apart lol. The rash is starting to go away on my arm, but over the weekend it had starded to show up around my eyelids where I'd been wiping sweat, and random dots on my hands. I imagine it was there and took longer to show up or a small residual amount left on some article of clothing, so I'm gonna soak everything in Tecnu before I go to Colorado. I also got what appears to be an infected bug bite of some sort. Woke up with tenderness on the inside of the elbow but hadn't bumped it on anything. Then noticed it was swollen, red, and warm to the touch in an area several inches wide around the bite. Don't remember seeing any ticks. Getting that checked out today. My girlfriend told me I wouldn't be having all these issues if I wasn't in the woods so much
