Heading out to Delevan

No overtime this weekend... Heck even if they do I never work anyways.. Lol..From the reports seems like fishing was slow.. But we found a honey hole for some slab crappies... Post back with some pics later tonight... If we do good.

About 12 or so in there.. Almost 10:00am and the bite is off... Also caught 2 northerns which we released...lookin good...
Nice day to be out... The sun sure helps a lot... Keeping us warm and all.. But usually more sun light = less fish activity

Those Crappies look good. I would have kept the Northerns they are great eating just tough to clean.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

4 guys...9 northerns between 22-26 inches.. All undersized, 15 crappies and 7 gills... Tough day.. Time for some beer, fish, and chips

Stanley.. I agree northerns are delicious.. I still need more practice filleting them... Too bad they were all small.. Northerns were very active today.. Must of seen 20 or so caught around us... With maybe one being a keeper..

Dewey.. The ice was grey.. Did seem a bit scary...there was a heave and crack with some open water that everyone stayed away from... But the ice was still a good 6-8 inches
