My brother's very first time ice fishing and lands a 31 inch walleye up in northern MN today. Luck is on his side this year.

Nice walleye. I just wish the weather would stabilize here in Michigan. With all this warm and rainy weather it's not to good for making ice. Kind of jealous of all you guys catching fish through the ice.

I'll send you a message tomorrow to see how you did. Maybe you can give me a pointer or two for Saturday. I guess we have a decent group coming out with us now. 4 guys and 2 trucks on top of my dad and I. Should be a good time

Well drum and sheepshead are the same fish. And I'll be out on poygan as well. Might go to bago if fishing isn't good

Went out on poygan, caught some small assorted fish and one bass to keep. Left at 9 and went to bago, struggled most of the day. Got a dozen bass to bring home for something yummy and healthy. Got on a really nice school about 2-3 hours too late. Guys were leaving with buckets of fish when we got there. Oh well. It happens to everybody. No more fishing this weekend. Time to hit the books and get caught up on school work.

I got on a really big school off of Wendts to the south. A few guides were down there and had buckets full. 3.5 miles east of Wendts
