Lucky surprise

Unread postby moondoondude » Thu Feb 02, 2017 12:06 am

I've been getting pictures of this buck daily since I started running cameras on this property. He is in high contention for the chopping block next year. He tried to grace me with a gift the other day when I pulled cameras - we'll see how that works out for him!

That is really cool. Any luck with the other side?

Just outside of the frame, only about 6 feet in front of my cameras. I put my camera a good ways up the tree angled down. They both fell off as he boogered off the frame where you can see the blurry antler just hitting the ground and the blurry deer exiting to the right. I saw the side that was base-up as I walked up to the camera first.

Awesome find!! I had the same thing happen to me the beginning of February. I'd never heard of it happening to anyone before.

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

That's awesome dude. I know from your podcast that getting those sheds probably has you really jacked.

Hope he stays healthy and look forward to see what he turns into.
