Re: 2017 shed thread
Not the biggest set of sheds but it is the first complete set I have ever found. They were up in this bed. I am trying to find the 8 pt I have pictures of hanging with this guy. All in all it was a great scouting trip.

Re: 2017 shed thread
Well had a good year shed hunting put lots of miles on the boots and just flat out enjoyed being outdoors. Went out any chance I got and combined this with some great scouting and gathering Intel for this season.
Found this beast on the edge of a swamp.. thickest bases I've wrapped my hands around. Wonder what he looked like before his antlers got chewed up.
Found this dead head nice buck with some character, notice the little sticker coming out of his left base.
Found 9 sheds total this year along with the two dead heads. The small pair facing each other is a matched set a small 5 pt. One shed was so old I left it there and one other that's missing from this pic I gave to a friend for his young son to have.

Swampyak I found him on a point between some tall grass and swamp..so I'd say on a transition and a point...

Re: 2017 shed thread
Went for a walk today to play with my turkey calls and do a little scouting. Found this on a deer trail coming from redbrush to an empty pond. No luck finding his match.

Re: 2017 shed thread
Found a small shed today at work and one scouting afterward. Both are very small and the one looks to be a couple years old. I've actually walked past it several times but must have never noticed it. Because there nothing to write home about I'm not going to post pictures right now, but they will be in my years total photo when I decide to give up shed hunting for the year.
