Matched set

Just curious from all the shed hunters out there. How often would you say you find a match set together let's say 100 or 200 yards apart? 50 percent of the time? 25 percent? I still have not found a match set and am just wondering if it doesn't happen that much when they drop together.

I have three matched sets. Two were literally laying on top of each other and the other set they were about 60 yards apart!

I have one set that were laying next to each other. I don't really shed hunt just stumbled across them while scouting a bedding area.

I have found maybe 100 sheds altogether. Maybe 10 to 12 matched sets. Never found a match set side by side. Maybe 60% were within 75 yards. The remaining 40% over 100 yards. The furthest was probably 250 yards.

Found my first matched set this year with my dog maybe 30-40 yards apart.

Exactly my history. Lots of singles mixed in, never paired up.

I have 3 match sets. 1 pair were laying about 10 ft apart. The other two were maybe 100-200 yds apart in the same field.

Both matched sets I've found the antkers have been right next to each other in buck beds.

Found a nice set 3 feet apart a few years ago. Biggest ones I found all year.

My goal is to find a big set laying right in the bed! I can find the beds no problem, but they are always empty! I did find a single in a bed a week ago but it was OLD. Probably a 5-6 year old shed.

I've found that easiest way to get a matched set is to have both sides attached to a skull plate. :D

Ive spent a lot of time looking for a match but have never found it to be easy, mostly blind luck. But I've found two sets this year, one was 5 ft apart, the other was about 50 yards apart.

You're gonna hate me but one of the first times I went shed hunting I found a matching 10 point bucks shed in a bed....didn't barely know anything about beast style hunting at the time just went into an area that felt right...
The second matching set I found was just a small 5 pt 1.5 yr old buck that's in a buck bedding area..found a 5 year old 4 point shed 5 yards away that was moss covered and super old as well...few other friends have had luck finding matched sets in fields too

I've only found a couple of matched sets, one was side by side and the others were about 100 yds apart. I've also found multiple 1 1/2 year olds sheds under the same big spruce tree at the same time but from different bucks

I've got 5 or 6 matched sets and probably 3 or 4 were within one or two yards of eachother. The others were within about 25 yards.

The first shed I ever found I was able to match up about 2 months later in Northern WI about 125yds away. Since then I have found 3 other matched sets. Two of those were laying right next to one another while the last set was found on a field laying about 100 yds apart. I would say matched sets have make up about 20-25% of the sheds I have found thus far but I also don't get out to look as much as I'd like.
