Unreal day of Moose Shed Hunting!

I have always dreamed of finding a moose shed antler (who hasn't). After talking with a fellow shed hunter who has had some awesome success with moose sheds, he was kind enough to invite me on a shed trip. I packed up my gear and made the long drive to his remote cabin. No power, no running water just remote bigwoods and a pair of boots...Heaven. We started walking some mixtures of old and new cuts, found lots of moose sign and to my disbelief, I picked up 3 incredible moose sheds. The second one I found is by far the coolest thing I've ever found in the woods. I have been shed hunting for 15 years and this will be one of my most cherished sheds of my life. It was a beautiful fresh brown with tons of character and a drop point!! It was the funnest day of shed hunting I've ever had.
