Getting 3-5” of snow every couple days for the past 2 weeks sure is cutting into my shed hunting!! Looks like I may have to wait til March. Oh well.

I like going out while the snow is still on to look for sheds. I can tell what areas the deer are using and eliminate a lot of walking when the snow melts and I get serious about looking.

Snow is finally melting so I’ve been out a few times over the last week. Haven’t found anything til today, found a 10pt set laying right next to each other. He must have been a scrapper, 3pts broken on 1 side and 1 on the other. I also found a small 3pt side.

Been way too much snow to find sheds this year, but now its melting off like crazy. Im out at sea and will be home in about 10 days. Hopefully by then i can get out and find some bone. Several big bucks around my best honeyholes whose sheds id love to find. Lot of scouting / planning / treestand hanging / trailcam setting to do, hoping to find sheds in the process. Cant wait for the snow to be gone.
