How did you get 4 Cat tags in one year for Wisconsin? Thought it took a couple of years of points to draw 1 tag.
I think "Findian" may be a native.
Different set of rules.

That would be correct. Don't know if I'll go up this year thinking abou under ice beaver/otter this winter less time and gas spent.

Depending on where your trapping I wouldn't worry about quad tracks. As far as the snow it shouldn't be a problem as long as your using pan covers. As long as there isn't several inches. The biggest problem is keeping your traps from freezing up. I use to mix calcium chloride with my dirt. I also use to dig up large ant hills and sift the dirt into 5 gallon buckets and store them behind my parents garage. The dirt gets almost waxy and to me seemed to keep better than just dirt from the set. I don't think it really made a difference with scent or soil type.
