I loved trapping when I was a kid, LIVED for it. I wish digital cameras were around then because I'd have TONS of pics. Mom and dad wouldn't let me take the cam out into the field so these are about all I have. I still to this day remember the first of every animal I ever caught. When I came around the corner on my first 50# beaver I'd have killed to see my eyes! It was dark and snowing and I almost stepped on him. First badger was freaking INSANE! Those things are just flat nasty.
I suppose it's fitting a Hawkeye outsmarted a badger, eh?
Look at the feet on that kid!!
