Episode 4

Unread postby jlh42581 » Tue Jul 03, 2012 10:00 am

Must say, that this is the PERFECT example of whats talked about having the wind thats just off and perfect for giving the buck a false sense of security.

Well done!

Thanks! 8-)

You need to watch it a little closer than the last few shows because we did not over emphasize the details, but you will also notice that he took another nice buck by finding the bed from the 1st one, and learning from that kill... If you pay attention, he also took a buck a couple seasons ago by scouting with the stand on his back and setting up along a transition line where a rub line went in and out of what looked to be buck bedding. Some of you may remember him getting on the forum all bummed out cause in his excitement he shot over the buck, but after some advice on the forum, he kills the buck the next day...

Yeah that was definitely a smart move in both instances. I have never had the opportunity to try something along those lines living in a 1 buck state.

Can I make an editing suggestion based on what I was taught about presentations in college? This isnt intended as a dig, just to help you out.

I was always taught that transitions in relation to presentation should remain the same across the entire presentation. Example, if you fade in from section one to two, you should continue that on. If the text flys in from the bottom on text slides, each other text slide should continue to do the same.

I will keep that in mind... I think Danny is just starting to really figure out the editing features and likes to play around
I have not watched the finished version yet... Just the rough one... I will watch it after supper.

I agree with Dans statement at the end of the episode. Joe is gonna be the next big buck serial killer. Great episode Joe, I really enjoyed that one.

Fun episode to watch.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Phenomenal episode. Joe you did an awesome job capturing the details and thanks for sharing everything you did to get the job(s) done on those dandy bucks. Fun episode! Thanks to all who took the time to share that! My favorite scene was of Joe going into the bed and describing it. Very nice!
