Well after years of wanting to try taxidermy, I finally tried one. My first beast buck and first attempt at a mount thought it was fitting. I was lucky enough to have someone show me and let me run with it. Gotta let dry and paint and a little clean up. Pretty enjoyable now to convince the wife I need taxidermy supplies :P

Nice job!
There's more fun in hunting with the handicap of the bow than there is in hunting with the sureness of pulling the trigger.

Looks good! I'd like to try myself sometime, but I don't have a lot of patience for the details. It must be nice to have it on the wall all ready! My taxi said mine would be July or August.

Congrats, he looks great! I am not sure if I will ever try taxidermy, however I am currently in the process of tanning my first trapped raccoon to make into a hat for my son who was with me when I trapped it. He is stoked.
