Picked up my 2016 Iowa buck mount today
Always exciting getting the call your buck is done. Even better this week since my Birthday was on Monday so it's a nice gift to myself.
I think it turned out great and can't beat the quick turnaround. One thing I noticed right away when comparing to the rest of my bucks is how striking the gray is on his muzzle. No doubt an old timer. Wish I had pulled a tooth to send in for aging.

Looking great. Man that was a fast turn around. I won't see mine for at least 8 months more. I still have one at the taxi man from 2014.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Tanning capes in house makes a huge difference.

Crazy fast turnaround! Usually that fast means it will show. Looks good though!
Guy that I took mine too has about 300 deer in front of me. Lol

I was #51 out of 200 plus buck shoulder mounts and 35 bear including a HUGE Alaskan Brown Bear that was estimated at 900-1000 lbs. I saw the rug and it's a beast. Took up an entire room spread out on the floor. Front claws were wicked. The guy is getting a life size mount standing on hind legs. Must have one heck of a big trophy room.

Looks good Dewey! My last mount took 3 years to get back. Buddy of mine had the same problem with the same taxi. The guy was a drunk not sure if he's still in business

Great looking mount, Dewey. That turnaround time is unbelievable! Did not notice the character on that buck until seeing the mount either.
What form is that? Looks similar to McKenzie 6300

Not sure on the form. I tell him the turn and pose I want and he takes care of the rest. This is the the seventh mount he has done for me. Haven't been disappointed yet.
