I personally wouldn’t fix em, I find broke tines and such add a lil character and adds to the story. Only way I would repair one is if it fell off the wall and broke.

I too feel it is personal preference and so to each their own, but I personally would not fix them unless they broke during death run.

I guess I never factored in a bad repair job. That’d turn me off too. My taxidermist is excellent. The buck he repaired is my profile pic. Can’t tell no matter how hard ya look.

What if you find the broken off tine?

A friend of mine works at a taxi, in the 10 years or so he has worked there he has a few times added points or made points longer to make it look better for the mount.

I know of one guy that fabricated a whole rack and tried to pass it off as a world record. Some people actually fell for it. :think:

Im getting mine from this year fixed. Have pics of him a few weeks before killing him unbroken. Perfect 8 is why I want him fixed too. Mike
