Aug 15th or 22nd are better for me. The 29th is my wife's family reunion.
Let's go Brandon!

Lansing area seems to be a good middle point.
Thoughts?

Lansing sounds good also. I can't August 15, or third weekend blueberry fest in Montrose. We could make a dish to pass and bring some meats! Let's make this happen. Lots of guys from our areas.

Just found this thread......I might be in for a meet & greet if the date works. Sundays usually work the best with my schedule. I do know that the 29th probably won't work for me either.

He has been saying this, and I also think its a great idea. I'm in Holly and will try to attend. Lansing, is good with me and the date is good with me too, for now.
I have been working on dan too. The last two seasons I almost had him here. We should at least make him come to Deer and Turkey in Lansing next Feb.

Sounds fun to me. I am pretty open on the weekends now that the kids are done with soccer and softball. I live in Soutghate.

Is the first weekend in Sept open for guys? Are we wanting to meet up at a restaurant or park? What's the day? Sat? Sun?

I'm open. I like the idea of a park and maybe even doing a little scouting for the youth hunt like backstraphunter mentioned. Either day works for me.

Same here. Scouting sounds like a good plan. If not I think a park would be more suitable than a restaurant.

Re: Anyone else hunting mid michigan?
First weekend of Sept. is Labor Day weekend......not sure how many guys will be out of town that weekend with family. Not sure if I can do that or not.
Another idea if you guys want to head a little farther north.....Rhinehart R100 shoot is at the Saginaw Field and Stream club the weekend of August 15-16.
Might be a good time shooting then get-together afterwards.

Wanted to bump this back to the top. Have we narrowed down a date or place yet? Lansing area? Labor Day weekend?
