Looking for some milkweed

Unread postby IkemanTx » Thu Dec 24, 2015 9:22 am

I got to the beast pretty late this year and didn't find any milkweed with pods still on, so I went through the season without. However, I hope to sit a number of my spots as observation sits in the spring/summer and want to thoroughly check each with milkweed. If you have a decent amount left over, I'd be happy to PayPal ya for some.

DaveT I've got a few pods I can send your way, no payment necessary. These aren't any ordinary pods, either. Aged like a fine wine, these pods have dried for 3-4 years. A mole fart at 70 yards will move this milkweed fluff like a horizontal blizzard. It will be after the holidays before I have time to send them, pm me your address... And Merry Christmas!

If anyone else has extra that they can spare I'd like to get ahold of some as well. I've only found it in one spot before last year and the pods were already busted and mostly shriveled up. I went back earlier this year and they were the same way so I haven't pinned down when I need to get to them yet.

I had some until I left them in a nook in the back of my crew cab and they DRIED OUT!

Oh Yeah I still find one floating around my cab every now an again.

Still doesn't match the time I left a half dozen on the kitchen table and went on vacation and left the ceiling fans on high...! Momma was NOT Happy!
