That’s great. Moments like that are etched in your memory for a life time. When i’m out in the woods by myself I think of those type of moments.

I didn't start hunting until I was 25 and some of my wife's family took me. I shot a young doe, which they cut the backstraps off of and threw the rest away! It almost ruined my hunting life before it even started. Thank goodness I didn't listen to their "that's the only part worth eating" statement.
