I appreciate all the nice comments guys. You guys are an inspiration around here daily for me!

Something else I'd like to note on this particular hunt was I have a history in this area of seeing solid bucks in October. Back in 2013, I encountered a B&C buck bad didn't follow my gut and hunt the fresh sign that was present; It cost me a shot at a giant. This year as I walked up that long nasty creek that hunt was ever so present in my mind... When I got up to the first creek crossing coming from the standing corn, I noticed a couple big fresh four finger buck tracks. Instead of pushing on further to the next crossing, I went ahead and climbed the embankment and got setup for the evening. That intel was key on this hunt
