Stan,

How many bucks did you pass in these 36 hunts, say bucks 130 and under? I think it would be informative for guys to see what it takes to take a buck of that age class and rack size in a "good" hunting state.

This was the best buck I had an opportunity at. I did not pass any bucks 130 or above. No opportunity. I did pass the buck I killed only about 20 seconds before I killed him.
Like Dan said sometimes it looks easier than it is. I probably had 6 bucks all under 130 in bow range. The buck I killed was the second biggest I'd seen this year from the stand. I did see a huge 8 point earlier in the season from the stand but wasn't within bow range.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Thanks for the response Stan. Guys see bucks dropping left and right on the Beast and I think it's helpful to hear how a top notch hunter takes awhile to kill a good one.
