Its the reason why I don't stick bow hunt. You have to ok with big bucks getting by you. And I am not ok with that :D

Great job on the doe Basin! Sorry to hear about the buck and that stuff can happen with any type bow...

One of the greatest things about traditional bowhunting is that it makes a trophy out of any deer killed and makes it more about the hunt and time spent outdoors. Not the end of game of inches making or breaking a guys season ;)

Your right! Any deer I harvest with my stick bow is a trophy I’m proud to have. I passed on a truck load of young bucks on this hunt that I could have shot. I’m happy with my doe and those bucks get to grow another year to hopefully be monsters in a year or two.
