Nice job boogie. Unfortunately the grind is over but you've got a nice buck to show for it. Plus you still get to chase swoops next year.

Thank you all for the kind words fellas! It’s been a season of up’s and downs but wouldn’t seem right any other way. Next time I pull my cams I post a pic of swoops, same size but he’s an 8 with longer beams that swoop up. Just keeping it real, suspect that buck will die of old age, every year that passes he gets smarter and learns more about how I hunt. Only so many curve balls u can throw on a small property b4 u r all out of pitches. Gonna still try but def wouldn’t put all my eggs in that basket, he’s beat me like a drum for years and don’t see that changing

You guys are still rut hunting correct? I think I read your post somewhere about this...that your rut starts later where your from. Yes? No?

Ya is more of a 2nd rut this time of year, but with our crazy weather down here sometimes 2nd rut gives u better daylight movement than the primary with the cooler temps. From what I’ve read from you guys ruts, ours appears to be more drawn out and less dramatic.
