A good ending
Well I had a tough start to the season after one lunging one of my two targets bucks. The rest of archery and gun weren’t great as I didn’t see another shooter. But, I sat this afternoon in negative degree temps and punched the tag on a big Doe. So, meat for the freezer and a good way to end the season as this was probably my last chance to get out there. And the kicker was that my 8 year old and five year old boy were able to help me “track it” (I actually saw it go down but wanted them to feel the joy of tracking). Would like to post a pic but don’t know how.

Always good to end on a high note! And good job getting the kiddos involved. Enjoy those back straps

Sounds awesome to me! Sometimes any deer in the last of the frozen days is the best memorable hunts
