Re: Video - Early Season Buck in his bed kill!
Question- right before your second shot, you made an adjustment on your sight. Do you use a single pin sight and you just changed yardage? I use a 3 pin sight, so not familiar with the one pin. I can see how one pin would be nice to have, but to have to do that quick calculation in your head (how far is he now) and make the adjustment on your bow (taking your eyes off the deer) and the extra movement, that seems like a tough task. A little insight on that topic if that was the case?

Joe. Maybe you mentioned and I missed it. How far was that second shot after he went of screen?
You seem to shoot a fair amount of bucks in the morning. That totally goes against the typical Beast style and I really appreciate you opening our minds to morning hunting outside the rut. It’s tough and you really need to have them figured out but proof it can be done. Great job.

Great video, great hunt, great buck.
Have you pulled off and “over-the-bed” kill before?
Do you have another tag to go after the big one?
Big congrats to you and best of luck on the upcoming PLC hunt!

Satellite buck or not, that’s knowing your stuff getting set up on a bed and waiting to kill the beast come sun up! That’s some sick footage.
Now....I have to ask.....why weren’t you set up on the “primary bed” you say the bigger one was in? No trees allowing a shot? Or did you just have intentions on that tree because you knew it was close and you could cover the whole bedding area? Granted one stood up to mill around

Teaching is only demonstrating that it is possible.... Learning is making it possible for yourself.

X2! It was like alright, we gottem, fish in a barrel style, no need to let him stand up and walk around!
Be original and Enjoy every step along the adventure.
