Awesome deer! Congrats!

What part of North America are you in? I'm guessing Canada, because nobody I know references kilometers.

What did she shoot him with?

LOL, I'm a tradesman, and for the most part I have little use for the metric system. As nice of a system as it is, most of the units of measurement are not sized conveniently for what I do, most lathes and milling machines are still imperial, and when you get into fit tolerance and thread designations the metric system just gets stupidly complicated. That said, my car is calibrated in kilometers so that's how I think, and I don't do Fahrenheit. Other than that, myself and most of the people I've worked with use imperial measurements almost exclusively.

To answer the other guy's question, I'm from northern Alberta, Slave Lake to be exact. My wife uses a Savage Lady hunter in .270 which works pretty good as a bush rifle, the 3-9x scope she has on it however was pretty clumsy at such close range and she ended up hitting him a pretty low. I'll convince her to put a 1-4x on that thing one of these days.
They say millwrights can fix anything except a broken heart, but I've even got a tool that can do that!
