If it doesn't give out too much information, would you be willing to post a topo of the "any wind but east bedding point?" I've got some hill hunting/scouting in the near future.

ok Jackson ...so this is the point I refer to in the podcast. you can see how the point jets out sharp to the east. the red dot is west based winds. the blue dot North, Northwest winds. yellow dot is for south, south west winds. those red lines are the rub lines coming out of the bedding. when ever I see those rub lines opened up then I know a good buck is in the area. a deer shouldn't be bedded there on a east wind they could but highly unlikely.
this pic shows the side view of the ridge. the green line is the ridge drop, the bedding is off the tip of the point.

Good stuff! This really helps it "click" when thinking about how deer use these points in hill country.

this map is off goggle earth ....there is only a small section in Wisconsin. fortunately my land is in that small area
