Not a must have but I've been real happy with this little gadget now that I'm making multiple grabs from above: bow plus self filming stuff.

I don't carry the matches and tinder that came with it, but have put a small pocket knife and thistle/milkweed floaters in the base.

Not for everyone but worthy of consideration if you find yourself using two ropes to haul gear up.

If you're up north I would say a good pair of insulated boots. Nothing will get you out of the stand quicker than cold feet.

1)A weapon. I will use a rock or spear if they had a season for them.
2)A knife.
3)Warm clothes.
4)Compass
5)A not so smart friend to help me drag deer out of the woods.
