I was out tonight in MD for my 1st hunt of the year. Sat in an inside corner that has a good buck bedding area ~100 yards away. The bedding area is on a point of timber that steeply drops into a marshy creek.

On my way in to the stand I ended up bumping two 2.5 yo bucks bedded in the standing corn...both let me get w/in 15 yards before busting out. Ended up seeing another 2.5 yo buck (100"- 110") and several does/fawns on stand. It was nice to get out.

Good luck to all today. Sure feels like bowhunting here. It's 38 degrees and the temps are still falling. Frost for opener, crazy!

It's not the knowing that's difficult, but the doing.
