X2 on work dragging real slow today. My boss knows what's going on with me, and indicated that I could get out a little early. I'll be driving the wife insane if I just went home and stayed home, so I'm hooking the boat up and going musky hunting this afternoon/evening. I'll do the same tomorrow morning, but then tomorrow afternoon, I'll be hiding in a natural ground blind 70 yards from bedding, 15 yards from where my target and his buddy have been crossing a ditch for the past 2+ weeks. Watched em again last night. If that sit doesn't work, I'm sort of stuck on where I'll be hunting Sun and rest of next week, as all my other scouted deer have gone missing. They are around, just haven't been able to lay eyes on them in a few weeks. Plenty of beds to hop around on though to keep me busy.

MN Deer Season a week from tomorrow , the 19th. So far the weather shows a high pressure system will hit mid day on opener, northly winds, avg temps and an O/H moon at 6:00 pm with a sunset at 7:20. Could make for a great sit opening night in the marsh!

Sitting at my desk in my 'home office' running mental checklists and tying up loose ends. READY to roll!! Headed up north to test my metal on a few targets in the northwoods this weekend and maybe put down a doe. Such a long summer, I'm ready to quit talking and start acting. Good luck Wisconsin beasts!!
