I dont have the froglegs but i do wear a pair of pants over my hip boots. I put the hip boots on first, them just hop into my pants. The pants are loose fitting enough to do that. Works slick.

Good to hear they quiet down some after wear. Think with a light pair of pants over they should be fine. Got them mainly for scouting but I'll be wearing them a fair amount to the stand as well and would rather just wear them on stand

Do you guys recommend the Brush Buster or Five Star chap?

I am finally going to order now that I got the boots I want. Gonna send them in soon to get this done.

I have been happy with the 5 star. Dans said that the 5 star is just as durable as brush buster and it’s lighter and not quite as stiff, they also said the 5 star is the most popular. For what we’re using them for really sounded like the 5 star was the way to go, I’m happy with mine
