Estimated cost should be about $70 each. weight we are expecting to be around 1.4 pounds each. the 1st run will have 24 inch spacing between steps.

I'm assuming that since all this talk is about only the sticks that the stand is still a ways off from release...?

I am trying to find machine time to make what Im hoping is the final proto-type. When its done, proved out, and tested, I will start getting quotes. Could be as fast as the sticks, might be a while... Its hard to get machine time right now cause Im scouting for people every weekend.

I think about it this way - while upfront it feels like alot this gear will last a lifetime. On a per year basis that's pretty cheap.
