Went out last night bumped a bachelor group from a small tree grove 100 yards from the road :doh: . Got to my spot which was not planed do to other hunters but I had a good night with the squirrels, coyote, and turkeys.

Found two fresh scrapes this morning within eye shot of a buck bed. Crazy how things start to pick up

Drove up to Kentucky for my first out of state hunt this week. I've seen a lot of deer, but unfortunately no bruisers. Ground game has been strong though. Ive had at least 15 close encounters under 20 yards and only been busted a few times. I'll probably take a doe this evening if the opportunity presents itself. Good luck everybody!!!

Bow opener in GA this morning. Gear is packed and truck is topped off. I'm headed out around noon to sit a transition line between hardwoods and an oak thicket along a stream that serves as a natural funnel between food and bedding. More to follow!
