I have 1 known for sure buck bed, pushed him out and saw him re-enter it with my own eyes. I hunted it once since, at the beginning of the rut, and that was the only time I did not see him. Wondering if bucks come back to their main bed during the rut, or are they just to busy with other things?!
And, will other bucks visit that area during the rut?
I know there are some doe in the area, as I saw them 2 out of the 3 times I sat there over the last 2 months.

Re: Buck Bedding during rut?
Depends on how close it is to doe bedding. Is it his primary bed or a secondary bed? Is it a bed in staging area or a bed in a transition area? Lots of variables. I have seen bucks use primary bedding all year round, even during the rut. The lay of the land will dictate if he’s usinf it year round and during the rut.
