Yes it's an area we've hunted in the past where the man was killed. They've arrested the guy. Very scary.

Something similar happened in MN last year, guy was murders with his own gun, never found the guy. But they did find his gun this year, hopefully they eventually catch the killer. Watch out for the crazies, no deer is worth your life or worth an argument.

I've always carried but this year they actually passed a law making it legal to carry with a valid permit. Not sure about non residents though

Horrible... I have always felt the most comfortable in the woods. However since I have been hunting alone the last few years it's become a little more nerve racking coming out alone. I am always watching for an ambush at my truck. There have been bodies dumped and people murdered where I hunt.

I have not been carrying ... I will be from now on. I think it is a good decision to make.
