RIP Mr. Rothaar!!

The sad part is those older trailblazers can't be replaced no matter what. The newer generation hunters all benefited from the first generation trophy hunters. The hunting brotherhood has lost a good one in Roger. A tremendous loss. I will walk around with no zip in my step for a few days that is for sure. I was pretty bummed out when I heard That Myles Keller was in jail last fall for killing a young kid while driving drunk. Bad deal for sure.

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Sorry to hear this. His book , Whitetail Magic, is a classic. It’s sits out on my coffee table. A pioneer for modern Whitetail bowhunting for sure.

What a bummer but he had a good run. I never met the man but have a lot of respect for him. In a league of his own.
