I bit the bullet and Pulled 3 cams today went over one card with 1200 pics. Alot of movement pics. Love the browning commandos but man they are very sensitive.
Took awhile but got some pretty good intel.
Man it was hot but walked over 4 miles.
Felt great cause i had my son with me and he was wanting too learn.
My son is not really into it yet, he plays too many dam sports too hunt. Not that thats a bad thing.
I do hope one day he will want too hunt with me.
I threw it out there yesterday too him and said
“ hey bud wanna go get buggy and pull few cams with me tomorrow?” Too my delight he said sure dad.
Bought him taco bell on the way home so he was satisfied.
No better time in the woods then when loved ones are by your side. What a great day.
The one im after in that area survived along with i think is his brother.
I kinda figured what he was doing early season and then late season moving too marsh island bedding with almost bulletproof bedding.
See what happens i guess.
Maybe i can talk the boy or my daughter into going after him.
Man. that would be priceless if one of those two got him.

Had a spot I felt confident at seeing some am action. POURING rain, lightning and thunder this morning so I thought “heck yeah, what a great day to go deer hunting”

Made it to my estimated tree super clean and quiet. Setup went smooth as my last sit last season. Im always really worried the first few setups and sits of the season is where I will make a noise, drop or forget something

Daylight came a little later with all cloud cover. Most all the storms pushed through maybe 30 mins before daybreak.

Shortly after had some does come through, some turkeys, coons and a possum

No fuzzy antlers this set. Moving locations to another County for the pm sit.

Feels awesome to be back in the trees (even though its only for 3 days). Looking forward to season opener last of Sept
