WI gun season - public land. Watched him a few times prior to goin for the kill. Everything worked perfect on the first attempt at him.

November 2 I shot this guy stalking a creek bed on the ground... he was pushing a couple of does. Shot him within now range but I had the 25-06

Killed this guy on the 16th at a quota draw hunt... again I was stalking edges and walked up on him. It was a shotgun/ muzzleloader hunt and I took the 12 gauge slug at 60 yards not a big deer but a fun extra tag and the first time setting foot on this particular place so I was happy with him

Alabama public land, 11/24/19 at 11:15am. Caught him chasing a group of does as I was still hunting a pine/hardwood transition. First year living in the state and whitetail hunting outside of Nebraska or Indiana.

I hunted a swamp peninsula with thick bedding to my west about 45 minutes from the truck. We had a strong north wind with wet leaves. The area is full of ankle high water and briars. No rubs or sign was in the area but I knew the bedding and believed in my setup.
Huge thanks to Dan's dvd Marsh Bucks I never would have hunted this spot if not for a great teacher.
I had my wind blowing into the open swamp making sure it was right. At 4.24 I looked torward the very thick bedding and saw a buck coming.

He gave me a 20 yard broadside shot.
It was perfect and he did a high kick and fell down.
This buck was taken on heavily hunted public land in west Tennessee.

7” spiker. 12th deer seen the second day of gun season and only buck I saw. Hunting 50 yards from my dad who is recovering from heart surgery and his first time hunting this year.

These are my sons Max & Alex.
These 2 bucks are from SE Mn public.
Both shot on Nov3. Both on the same day in the late afternoon, about 45 minutes apart. They were about 6 miles from each other.
Late night of dragging!! What a blast that whole day was!!

Found a bunch of fresh sign heading into the point of a known bedding area hunted the spot 2 times and on the 2nd hunt had him come in to 7 yards and watched him pile up 40 yards from the stand. Harvest date Nov 2. Taken with the bow

Watched him go into bedding in the morning from an observation stand I have on a ridge. Came back in the afternoon got up close to the bedding area and within 5 mins of me being on stand he came right out of bedding and I got a 36 yard shot and watched him go down 50 yards or so. Harvest date Nov 8th. Taken with the bow
